House, now 2 shops. C17 with C18 refronting and later
alterations and additions. Timber-frame refronted in roughcast
brick; gabled tile roof, stack not visible. L-plan.
EXTERIOR: single-storey plus attic; 2-window range. Pair of
shop fronts with central entrances with glazed doors and
flanking bay window with colonnettes to plate glass, and
canvas canopy. Attic floor has 2 gables, each with a canted
bay window with cornices and hipped roofs over late C20 uPVC
glazing.
Gable to left has County firemark. Left return has brick
walling with tile off-set and exposed timber-framing above;
entrance with open gabled porch to left end.
Right return has exposed square framing and long timber-framed
rear wing with blocked 3-light mullioned window and varied
small-paned fenestration; C19/C20 rear wing to right.
