3 houses, one converted to a shop with flat over. C17 with
later additions and alterations including C18 and mid-late C20
infill to front. Reddish-brown brick, painted to front facade,
rendered in part to return and with timber-framing.
Weatherboarded infill and plain-tile roofs. Irregular
cross-plan; gable end to street.
EXTERIOR: front facade of 2 storeys, 2 plus one first-floor
windows. Range to left is segmental section infill. C20
windows throughout: to ground floor are 2 multi-pane shop
windows, that to right with a part-glazed door. First-floor
window at right has elliptical arch over.
Left return: single-storey with attics. Off-centre right and
left C20 doors, that to left between C20 canted bay windows
and with similar bay window to right. 4 attic roof dormers.
Right return: a substantial range with small square panels of
timber-framing.
INTERIOR: retains evidence of timber-framing to rear range
with exposed wall plate and beams.
All the listed items on The Green form a group.
