3 houses, now farmhouse. Pre-1649, probably late C16/early C17
with later additions and alterations including extensions to
right and rear of 1939.
Small timber-framing to right gable-end with reddish-brown
brick infill and reddish-brown brick front facade with
plain-tile roof. 3-unit lobby entrance plan extended to L-plan
with rear wing and outshut.
EXTERIOR: single-storey with attic; 3-window range. Original
front now to garden: C20 door right of centre in moulded wood
frame under elliptical arch. C20 canted bay and casement
windows to ground floor, the 2 windows to left under
elliptical arches. 3 gabled roof dormers. Dentilled eaves
band. Ridge stack. Roof half-hipped to right. Farmer's fire
insurance mark to first floor above door.
INTERIOR: exposed timber-framing to partition walls, chamfered
beams to ceilings with ogee stops, board doors. Believed to
have wattle and daub to roof space and some original roof
timbers.
