House. Probably C17 with addition to right early C18 and later
additions and alterations including outshuts to rear and
alterations mid C20. Painted brick with fragments of
timber-framing to right and gabled old plain-tile roofs.
EXTERIOR: 2 builds, each of single-storey plus attic, that to
right is taller; 4-window range, arranged 2:2. Plank door
right of centre in moulded wood door frame and with C20 porch.
C20 fenestration throughout: ground floor has 2 casements and
2 bay windows; attic has 4 gabled half-dormers with casements.
Modillion cornice. Timbering exposed to right part and to left
gable end. Rear stacks and stack to right end of left range.
INTERIOR: to right end of left range an inglenook fireplace
with bressumer. Chamfered beams to ceilings. Remains of wall
plates and fragments of timbering exposed to ground and first
floors.
