House. C17 with early C18 addition and later alterations.
Timber-frame with plastered infill and some brick rebuilding
to end, and brick wing on coursed rubble plinth; tile roof
with brick end stacks. T-plan.
EXTERIOR: single-storey with attic; 3-unit range. Entrance to
left of centre has C20 door, segmental-headed entrance with
half-glazed door to right end. Window to left end has 2-light
small-paned casement; central lean-to projection has 3-light
casement with iron opening casement, raking dormer above has
2-light casement.
Left return has half-hipped gable and rear has lateral stack
and blocked window. Wing has coped gable with end stack; high
stone plinth due to slope of ground and basement window,
2-light small-paned casement to 1st floor and 2-light leaded
casement to 1st floor; right return has blocked 1st floor
window; left return has segmental-headed window with 2-light
casement to each floor, one small-paned, one leaded.
INTERIOR: chamfered spine beam and in-filled fireplace with
stop-chamfered bressumer; exposed roof timbers with wind
braces; wing has room with stop-chamfered beam.
