Cottage. Late C17 with C19 addition. Timber-frame on brick
plinth, with C19 brick infill and brick addition; tile roof
with fishscale bands and brick end stack. Single unit plan.
EXTERIOR: single storey with attic. South elevation, exposed
in 1991 by removal of C20 garage, has square framing 3 panels
high and large tension braces; carpenters' marks. Right return
has similar framing, blocked entrance and 3 boarded windows,
recorded as having C20 2-light small-paned casements.
Rear has C19 catslide outshut, continued to left return with
small single-storey wing.
INTERIOR: recorded as having stop-chamfered beam and 2-bay
butt-purlin roof.
