Barn range, now office. C17 with C18 barn and C19 stable; late
C20 restoration and alteration. Timber-frame with brick and
plaster infill on coursed limestone rubble plinth; brick
additions; renewed tile roof.
EXTERIOR: 3-bay barn has rows of square ventilation holes and
exposed wall plate; central threshing floor entrance has C20
glazed infill. 2-bay C17 section to right has square framing 3
panels high, coursed rubble with raking buttress to left,
tension brace to right, and top panels with plastered infill
and pitching hole with wide-boarded shutter. Right end stable
has segmental-headed entrance with split door and small
blocked window.
C20 single-storey, 3-window range to left end.
Rear of brick on high rubble plinth with inserted windows and
pitching hole; glazed threshing floor entrance.
INTERIOR: barn noted as having 2 tie beam and collar trusses
with angle struts and vertical wind braces, truss to right end
has collar and queen posts; C20 galleries flank central space
open to roof.
