Rectory, now house. c1800 with possible earlier core and with
later alterations. Roughcast with stucco dressings; steeply
pitched machine tile double-gable roof with roughcast brick
end stacks. Double-depth, central staircase, plan.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys plus attic; symmetrical 5-window range.
End pilaster strips and top cornice. Round-headed entrance has
doorcase with Tuscan columns with fluted capitals, entablature
blocks with triglyphs to each face, and open pediment with
rosettes; fanlight with decorative glazing bars over
6-flush-panel door with reeded beading. Windows have sills and
2/2 sashes, those to ground floor right are C20 horned sashes
replacing 12-pane sashes; 3 gabled dormers with 2-light
casements.
Rear has 3 gabled wings, C20 conservatory and single-storey
wing; first floor has 12-pane sashes, the central one flanked
by 8-pane sashes, and 6-pane sashes to second floor; valley
stack.
