Boundary wall with pair of gate piers. c1780. Local stone
roughly squared and random coursed, with ashlar dressings.
Wall approximately 1.2m high, with total length of
approximately 20m. Flat dressed copings, swept up at each end
where wall abuts Nos 34 and 38 (qqv) and at central gateway
with square ashlar piers having plinths and moulded pyramidal
caps C20 metal gate. The wall plays an important part in the
setting of No.36 (qv) and in the street scene generally.
