Former inn, now house. Early C19. Rendered and colourwashed,
double Roman clay tiled roof with stepped coped gable to east,
plain gable to west, brick end and intermediate chimney
stacks.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; 3-bay main range defined by pilaster
strips, with lower 2-bay extension to left. Sash windows of 16
panes to ground-floor bay 1 and first-floor bays 3, 4 and 5,
2-light casement windows ground floor bay 3 and upper bays 1
and 2, a former shop front to bays 4 and 5 with 2-light
display windows with toplights on either side of a flush
double door with slim rectangular fanlight over, plain
pilasters, slim fascia with cornice on brackets. Pair C19
flush doors to bay 2, and boarded door on heavy frame to right
of bay 5, lean-to and extension to rear.
