Pair of houses in row. Early/mid C19. Rendered and
colourwashed, clay pantiles between abutments, brick end
chimney stacks.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys with attics, single bay each house.
Plinth, sash windows of 4 panes to all but the ground floor of
No.65, in plain openings, No.65 has a canted single-storey bay
window to match, with hipped Welsh slate roof. Entrances in
centre, with C20 6-panelled doors on C19 frames in
segmental-arched openings, up 6 steps. in centre of roof a
raked dormer with 4-light casement window.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: the entrance steps flanked by low brick
walls carrying wrought-iron railings with scrolls and points,
which run into a low random stone wall with ashlar copings
along front boundaries to houses, adding to their setting and
the streetscape generally.
