GV II

United Reformed, former Baptist Church. 1827. Rendered and
colourwashed, hipped interlocking clay tiled roof behind
parapet.
EXTERIOR: single storey with gallery, 3 bay east elevation.
Plinth, band course between floors, cornice, shallow parapet.
Semicircular arched casement windows of 9 panes with
radially-glazed tops in plain openings. Central entrance, up 3
steps, has pair 3-panel doors with semi- circular radially
glazed fanlight in arched opening, framed with Doric half-
columns on plinths, with entablature over. Side elevation
masked by adjoining buildings.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Known as "Ebenezer Chapel", this was built as a Baptist
Church, and combined with Congregationalists from Croscombe in
1917.
