GV II
2 houses. c1600. Partly painted timber frame with painted
brick infill panels on rubble stone plinth. Plain-tiled roofs
replacing earlier thatch. Integral stone rubble chimneys with
brick upper shafts at gable-end and eaves. Rectangular plan of
4 framed bays including a reduced extension bay.
EXTERIOR: single storey and attic. West side with square
framing 2 panels high with straight tension brace to right.
Rubble chimney stack to left, central plain boarded door,
2-light casement to right. East side with square framing 2
panels high. 2 plain boarded doors, two 2-light casement
windows and 2 gabled dormers over. C20 casement in extension
bay to left. North gable end: tie beam with collar and
vertical struts over, square framing 2 panels high with twin
straight tension braces, 2-light casement at each floor.
