Rectory, now house. Late C18, with later C19 alterations.
Ashlar with coursed stone rubble, brick rear wing. Hipped
slate roof. 2 lateral ridge stacks.
EXTERIOR: south-east front is a 3-storey, 3-window range of
8/12 sashes and 8/4 at upper floor. Central bay slightly
advanced with 6/6 sash and 6/3 sash over. All sashes with flat
keyed ashlar lintels. Central C19 projecting stone portico
with 2 pairs of Ionic columns with plain entablature and
pediment, 6-panelled double entrance door, inner ashlar
doorcase with open pediment set on plain bracketed pilasters
with radial fanlight, partly glazed and panelled inner door.
South-west side: to left are round-headed windows with
interlacing Gothick-style traceried wood glazing bars with
leaded lights to lower storeys and 3-light casement above, all
with brick lintels. To right, 2-storey canted bay window with
hipped slate roof, 6/6 sash with 4/4 sashes on side faces over
6/9 sash with 4/6 sashes on side faces.
North-east side: to left is a large window with thin
cross-mullion glazing bars at lower floors and blocked window
above painted to imitate the others. To right, round-headed
window with interlacing Gothick-style traceried wood glazing
bars with leaded lights at first floor with 3-light casement
over, wood mullion and transom window and tall thin casement
at ground floor. All openings with brick lintels except for
lower left which has flat keyed ashlar lintel.
Brick tiled gabled 2-storey rear extension wing to right side.
