GV II
House. Early C17 and later. Painted timber frame with painted
brick infill panels on restored brick plinth, C20 restored
wood casements throughout. Thick slates and plain-tiles to
extension. Projecting brick gable-end stack and integral brick
gable-end stack. Rectangular plan of 2 original bays with
third end extension bay.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys. Entrance front with 2 bays of square
framing 4 panels high with single straight tension brace,
casement in each bay at each storey, left bay with projecting
gabled slate-roofed entrance porch; to left is single
extension bay of square framing 3 panels high with dormer and
ground-storey casement.
Left side gable: square-framed gable-end of extension bay 3
panels high with truss with straight tie beam, vertical
struts, collar and twin raking struts, partly covering higher
original gable showing triangular glazed panel at apex.
Rear: 2 bays of square framing 4 panels high with single
straight tension brace, casement in each bay at each storey;
to right is single extension bay of square framing 3 panels
high with raised eaves to accommodate casement at both
storeys.
Right side gable framing covered by projecting stack.
