SO67SW Barn and cowhouse to south-east of
582-1/5/3 Boraston Court
GV II
Barn and agricultural outbuildings. Mid-late C18. Brick with
dentil course eaves. Plain-tile roof. L-shaped plan of 3-bay
barn aligned east-west with granary and cowhouse forming cross
wing to rear.
EXTERIOR: street front with central boarded barn doors set in
brick segmental arched opening. Flanking brickwork pierced
with diamond-pattern ventilation holes. Boarded door in brick
segmental arched opening to right. Gable-end to right and
rear: brickwork pierced with evenly distributed ventilation
holes. Boarded openings with segmental arched lintels and
central barn doors to rear. Cross wing with 2 casements at
first floor and segmental arched openings below on east side.
Steps up to boarded door on gable end.
