GV II
Stable and coach-house, now residence and kitchen attached to
nursing home. C18. Brick with storey bands, on stone plinth.
Old-tiled roof with brick-coped gables with ball-head finials
at ridge and kneelers, moulded wood eaves cornice to right.
Projecting stepped C19 brick gable-end stack.
EXTERIOR: single storey and attic. Gable front with C20
3-light casement to first floor, C20 door to left. Right
return side: C20 doors and C18 2-panelled door in beaded oak
door frame. Partly covered by C19 link block to the Manor
House (qv). Left return side: 2 C20 metal casements and
3-light casement with brick segmental arch at ground floor. 3
later tiled gabled dormers with 4-light casements. Rear gable:
C20 3-light casement in gable end which extends to left with
link block to Manor House which has casement and 2/2 sash at
first floor over a 3-light casement with brick segmental arch
at ground floor.
