House. Early C19. Brick on rubble plinth. Hipped slate roof
with deep eaves. Brick partly projecting end stacks. 3 bay
central range with flanking wings.
EXTERIOR: facade is 3-storey, 3-window range of sashes with
gauged rubbed brick lintels. Full-height recessed wall panels
defining each bay with the central bay narrower. 6/6 central
first-floor sash flanked by 8/8 sashes; 3/3 central
second-floor sash flanked by 4/4 sashes; one tripartite
4/4:8/8:4/4 sash to ground floor either side of central stone
projecting porch. Porch enclosed with pair of panelled doors
with fanlight and with round-headed tall casements set in
recessed panels on return sides, door covered by projecting
pair of Tuscan columns supporting entablature. 2 stone
segmental-arched cellar openings.
To left is single-storey flanking wing of four 9/12
full-height sashes, the outer 3 projecting with similar window
on return wall. 2 similar windows on side wall. All windows
with gauged brick lintels. Cornice and parapet with ball
finials on leading corners.
Matching C20 wing added to right.
Sides: single 6/6 sash each side, with 3/3 sash at second
floor on left side. Rear: 3/3 sash to left at second floor
otherwise covered by 3 projecting 2-storey gabled wings.
