Inn, now house. C17 range and C18 main range with C20
extensions. C17 timber-framed range with brick infill and
tiled roof. Brick ridge chimney and eaves chimney. C18 brick
main range with dentil eaves course and hipped and gabled
roofs. Projecting brick eaves chimney contained within
extension. L-shaped plan to C18 main range.
EXTERIOR: C17 range abuts as cross wing. Front range of C18
main wing: 3-storey, 3-window range of 8/8 sashes in segmental
arched openings with brick sills. Second floor has 3 4-light
casements. 6-panelled entrance door to ground-floor left under
fanlight. C17 framed wing to left. Right return side: C19
rebuild with one twin 4/4 sashes at first and ground floors
with segmental arches and brick sills. Rear extension built in
similar style with C20 casements in gable-end. C17 cross wing
abuts west side wall: 2 bays of square framing 3 panels high
with braces, much restored, and with restored casements,
dormer window and doors. C19 and C20 brick underbuilding to
front gables and main range side.
