House. C17, with C20 extension. Timber-frame with painted
render infill and later painted brick extension to east.
Plain-tile roof. Central ridge stack with C19 brick shaft.
Lobby-entrance plan.
EXTERIOR: single-storey and attic, 4-window range. North side
to road has 3 square-framed bays of 3-panel height with
2-light casement in each. Single straight brace to right.
3-light C20 casement with leaded lights and brick lintel in
left extension bay. 2 tiled gabled dormers with 2-light
casements. Right-hand gable end: square-framing 3 panels high
with straight braces, and jowled posts. 2-light casement with
leaded lights, C19 boarded door. Gable-end truss with straight
tie beam, 4 vertical struts, collar with twin raking struts
over. 2-light attic casement framed by struts. Single trenched
purlins visible under restored projecting verges.
Entrance side to rear (south): 3 square-framed bays of 3-panel
height with 2-light casements in outer bays and 3-light
casement with leaded lights in central bay. Entrance to left
side of right-hand bay with C20 plain boarded door. C20 French
windows in brick extension bay to right. One tiled gabled
dormer window with 2-light casements over each bay. Left-hand
gable end: C20 3-light casement with leaded lights and brick
lintel at attic level.
