Stable approx. 10m north of East
Banks Farmhouse

GV II

Stable, now store. Probably C18; altered. Random rubble with
quoins, stone slate roof. Rectangular 2-bay plan on east-west
axis. Two low storeys. The south side has external steps up to
a loft doorway, and a small square window left of this. The
west gable has a doorway in the centre with a stone lintel and
a stone drip-course over it, a square 6-pane window to the
left and a very small window to the right.
INTERIOR: chimney-breast and fireplace at 1st floor of west
gable end. Part of a significant rural group with East Banks
Farmhouse (qv) and barn to west of East Banks Farmhouse (qv).
