Small house. Probably early C18, extended. White-painted
random rubble with quoins, stone slate roof. Rectangular plan
on east-west axis facing south, 1+2 units, perhaps
double-depth.
2 low storeys, 1:2 windows. The 2-unit main range has a small
gabled porch offset slightly left, two square 4-pane sashes at
ground floor, another to the left at 1st floor and a top-hung
casement to the right imitating a 4-pane sash. The extension
to the left, which is slightly lower, has a 4-pane fixed
window at ground floor and an altered 4-pane window above; and
it is slightly overlapped by the south-east corner of Scar
View (qv). Large square corbelled chimney at right-hand gable.
This gable wall, which has some through-stones, has a window
near each corner of the ground floor, the first like those at
the front and the other round-headed. Rear and interior not
inspected.
