Former wing of Centre Cliff House (Nos 1 & 2 Centre Cliff,
South Cliff (qv)); now separate house. 1829; subdivided and
rebuilt at rear in 1949 following war damage. For Rev Thomas
Sheriffe. Gault brick with cast-iron balcony railings; slate
roof with brick stack on rear slope.
EXTERIOR: 2-storey 3-bay front, articulated by pilaster
strips. In centre bay are French doors with glazing bars; to
right, a French window, to left a 6/6 unhorned sash window. On
first floor, central French doors with glazing bars open to
cantilevered balcony with ornamental balustrade. Flanking
windows are 6/6 unhorned sashes. All openings have painted
gauged skewback arches.
