Boundary wall of churchyard of
Church of St Catherine
GV II
Boundary wall to churchyard. Probably 1840. Coursed squared
sandstone (now ribbon-pointed), with dressed sandstone coping
and gate piers. Bounds all 4 sides of rectangular churchyard,
with gateway in line with west door of church. Approximately
2m high, with chamfered coping (former iron railings removed).
Pair of gate piers square up to level of coping, then mediated
to octagonal section, with finialed octagonal caps. Included
for group value with Church of St Catherine (qv).
