Terrace walls and steps forming west
boundary to garden of Wigan Hall
GV II
Two terrace walls with steps in garden. Probably c1875-80;
perhaps by GE Street. Finely-jointed coursed sandstone rubble
with ashlar dressings. Bounding the east (upper) and west
(lower) sides of a gravelled terrace approximately 50m long to
the west side of Wigan Hall. Each wall is approximately 1m
high, with a flight of steps down at the north and south ends.
Forms group with Wigan Hall (qv). Included for group value.
