GV II

House. Late C18 with early C19 extension. Colourwashed render,
rubble stone and brick dressings to extension, ashlar copings,
gabled single-Roman tile roofs, rendered gable end stacks.
PLAN: single-depth plan.
EXTERIOR: 2-storey; 3-window range with lower 2-storey;
2-window west extension and 2-storey; single-window extension
at north-west corner.
Main range and lower extension set at right-angles to the
road, north-west extension parallel to road. Symmetrical main
south front with central doorway. Windows are all C20 12-pane
sashes set in flush frames, that on first floor to centre is
blind and painted in imitation. Doorway under open pediment;
late C20 6-panel door incorporating radial fanlight. Extension
has similar C20 12-pane sashes in reveals with slight cambered
heads. North-west extension has canted 3-light bay to ground
floor with 12-pane sashes to road and 8-pane sashes to sides;
12-pane sash in plain reveals with sill to first floor.
Doorway to left under lean-to single-Roman tile roof with late
C20 door.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
