Farmhouse. Probably C17 but possibly with earlier origins.
Rendered cob; water reed thatched roof; brick end stacks and
brick axial stack right of centre. 3-room plan, extended at
rear early C20.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; 4-window range. Early C20 2-light
casements with glazing bars and French windows with margin
panes to ground floor openings; thatched porch towards left
and wide lean-to porch with slate roof on the right.
INTERIOR: C17 chamfered crossbeams to hall and right-hand
room; probable early C18 fireplace to right-hand room with
unchamfered oak lintel and oven behind left-hand jamb; feet of
C17 and C18 trusses visible to 1st floor. Other features are
mostly of the early C20 period of remodelling and extension
including a good staircase with turned balusters.
