GV II
House, now used as office. Early or mid C19. Rendered mass
wall construction. Slated roof with red ridge tiles. Red brick
chimney at left-hand end of ridge; rendered chimney at
right-hand end. Double-depth, 2 rooms wide with central
entrance.
EXTERIOR: 2 storey with basement. Deep eaves with moulded
eaves cornice and eaves band. 3 windows front with centre
doorway. Doorcase pilasters with sunk panels and flat moulded
hood on consoles; wooden door with 2 solid moulded panels at
the bottom, the upper part (probably altered) with 12 glazed
panes. Cast-iron shoe-scraper to right. 2 ground floor 4-pane
sash windows; first-floor windows hornless 12-pane sashes.
