Mirrored pair of houses. Early C19. Solid rendered fronts.
Slated roofs. Old red brick chimney on centre of ridge, upper
courses projecting to form a cap; 8 square, tapered pots with
decorative tops.
2 storeys. Each house 2-window range. Round-arched doorways at
outer ends; recessed surrounds; 4-panelled doors set well
back, the 2 bottom panels flush. Flat-topped bow window in
ground storey of each house; triple sashes, 6 over 6 panes in
centre, 2 over 2 panes at sides. 6-paned sashes in upper
storey. Moulded boards below eaves. INTERIOR not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: area railings with lily-heads to both
standards and ordinary uprights; former moulded, with scrolled
brackets behind them.
