4 houses. Early C19. Stucco scored to imitate ashlaring to the ground floor and brick in Flemish bond to the 1st floor; No.14 stucco scored to imitate ashlaring. Hipped roof of slate to each of paired units. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys. 2 windows each. All openings are flat-arched, all windows with projecting sills; 1st-floor windows to all but No.14 have lintels of gauged brick. Each pair identical, with a description of a common type to follow. Entrances with overlight to outer corners of pair, in range which projects from the front wall to form full-height rectangular bay; narrow full-height recess on party wall. Storey band between ground and 1st floors. To the side of each entrance the front wall recedes to form a recessed range with one flat-arched window to 1st floor. The window over entrance narrower than window in recess. The recessed join between Nos 10 & 12 partly filled in by single-storey addition and to left of No.14. Windows rebuilt to an original design in late C20 on No.8. 6x6 windows of an original design to No.12; the 1st-floor window over entrance has a concrete lintel. No.14 has windows with 6x6 sashes with margin lights of original design. In the recesses are several 2x4 sashes with margin lights. Deep boxed eaves to all units. INTERIOR: not inspected. Included for group value with Nos 7-11 (odd) & 16-19 (consec) (qqv) and the Post Office Depot (qv).
