Pair of semi-detached houses. c1816-22. Amber brick, No.15 stuccoed; low-pitched, hipped slate roof. 2 storeys and basement, 2 bays each. No.16 has steps with cast-iron handrails up to entrance in outer bay (with separately hipped roof); screen of 2 Tuscan columns before curved recess in which door is flanked by 2 round-arched, blank niches. Door with margin lights and oblong fanlight. Outer entrance bay to No.15 is bowed with Tuscan columns to curved portico supporting bay window above consisting of sash windows with margin lights between panelled pilasters. Frieze and dentil cornice; door similar to No.16. Cambered, gauged-brick arches to sash windows with glazing bars, those to ground floor in round-arched recesses resting on basement plinth. INTERIOR: not inspected. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: attached cast-iron garden railings to No.15. Nos 5-24 (consec) (qqv) form a group.
