Pair of semi-detached houses. Early to mid C19. Brick in Flemish bond with stucco dressings. Hipped roof of slate. EXTERIOR: 3 storeys over basement. No.32 of one-window range to Holly Grove; main elevation to No.33 on Bellenden Road, of 3-window range with one-window range to Holly Grove. Elevation of No.33; symmetrically disposed around an entrance set under a Doric prostyle porch; entablature with wreath frieze and blocking course; all ground-floor openings are round-arched, the windows articulated with rustication blocks to jambs and voussoirs; 1st- and 2nd-floor windows have moulded architraves with projecting sills; the former, in addition, have cornices projecting on brackets; the centre range narrower than the rest with 6x6 and 3x3 sashes of original design; end bays with 8x8 and 4x8 sashes of an original design which is repeated on the end bays of the return. First-floor sill band to both units. Boxed eaves. The Holly Grove elevation between the 2 has a 3-window range in all, the centre being blocked and the party wall picked out with a vertical strip, a most unusual feature. Of note are the 1st-floor window on return of No.33 which has Gothick tracery sash. The entrance to No.32 on return; reached up steps, it is round-arched with decorative fanlight glazing. Stacks on party wall. INTERIOR: not inspected.
