GV II

Pair of houses. Early to mid C19. Brick in Flemish bond, stucco to ground floor and dressings. 3 storeys. 2 windows each, with No.32 having a 2-storey entrance porch to the left. Elevation of each identical. All openings flat-arched unless otherwise stated. French doors to ground floors, set in aedicule topped by a pediment on acanthus brackets. First-floor windows with projecting sills and cornice supported on acanthus brackets. Ground-floor of No.32 only treated as banded chamfered rustication topped by a storey band. Corner quoins to 1st and 2nd floors of each, and parapet continuous. Round-arched entrance to No.32 set to left in single-storey porch of an original design. Entrance to No. 30, originally probably within single-storeyed bay, matching No 32, is set back to the west and was rebuilt and raised to three storeys in the later C20. INTERIOR: not inspected. Forms a group with Nos 34-40 (even).
