Terrace of 18 houses, late C18. Brown and yellow stock brick, some with stucco or red brick dressings; slate or tiled roofs. War damage has been repaired and some restoration and later alterations have been carried out. All but Nos 95 & 97 with mansards with dormers; Nos 91-117 with roof behind brick parapet; Nos 87, 105-7 & 119 with roof behind stucco parapet with cornice and blocking course (No.89 stucco parapet only; No.119 also has frieze); No.97 with cornice and low triangular pediment in front of parapet. EXTERIOR: 3 storeys and basement, most with attics, 2 bays each, 2 windows and door to each ground floor (except No.119 which is 4 bays and No.121 which is 3 bays to each floor; No.87 with 1-storey set-back entrance extension to left return). Round-arched entrances in round-arched recesses with decorative fanlights to all but Nos 93, 99 & 103. No.89 with moulded cornice head; No.93 with reeded jambs and cornice head; No.95 with reeded cornice head; No.97, which slightly projects, with stucco springing band to door with panelled jambs; No.99 with fluted Egyptian pilaster jambs, reeded cornice head and original door; No.101 with moulded stucco architrave with fluted Tuscan pilasters, fluted Egyptian pilaster jambs and reeded cornice head; No.103 with reeded cornice head and fluted pilaster jambs; No.105 with cornice head, moulded stucco architrave and pilasters; No.107 with moulded cornice head, moulded stucco architrave and pilasters; No.109 with stucco lined reveal with moulded cornice head and original door; Nos 111 & 113 with doors (that to No.111 original) with moulded cornice heads in stucco lined reveals; No.115 with reeded pilaster jambs, moulded cornice head and original door; No.117 with attached, reeded 3/4 columns, reeded jambs and cornice head; No.119: steps up to door with fluted pilaster jambs, cornice head and stucco springing band; No.121 with short Doric columns to doorway bearing entablature
below break-front cornice head, moulded stucco springing band. All except Nos 87, 89 & 105 have sash windows; Nos 91 & 95-99 with glazing bars and all but Nos 87, 89 and 2nd floors of 109, 115 & 117 with flat, gauged-brick arches. Nos 105 & 107: modern glazing; No.87 with moulded stucco architraves to casement windows with leaded lights, those to ground floor with segmental pediments, those to 1st floor with triangular pediments, those to 2nd floor eared; No.89 with stucco architraves and flat cornices on brackets to mullioned and transomed windows; No.97 with ground-floor windows in round-arched recesses; No.119 with round-arched ground-floor windows in round-arched recesses with stucco springing band and moulded stucco bases resting on basement plinth, 1st-floor windows with flat cornices on brackets; No.121 ground-floor windows as No.119 but with plain arches; No.125 with windows as No.121. All have stucco sill band at 1st floor. INTERIOR: not inspected. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: area and/or dividing railings, some original.
