GV II
Pair of semi-detached houses. Early to mid C19. Brick in Flemish bond with stucco dressing and stucco scored to imitate banded rustication to the basement. Roofs parapeted. 2 and 3 storeys over basement; a recessed entrance range, paired at the party wall; taller range to the side. All openings flat-arched, all windows have architraves, those to the 1st floor having, in addition, projecting cornices supported by console brackets. Up steps to entrances set under a 2-bay porch supported by Tuscan piers; entablature and blocking course above. Ground-floor windows are floor to ceiling, 3-light. Tuscan aedicule opening onto a shallow porch. Entablature over all ranges. INTERIOR: not inspected. Nos 21-41 (odd) (qqv) form a group.
