Pair of semi-detached houses. Mid C19. Brick in Flemish bond with stucco dressings. Italianate style. EXTERIOR: 3 storeys over basement, recessed entrance range of 2 storeys and a 4-window range in the centre of the pair. Up steps to entrances with overlight at far corners of the pair; entrance set under porch spanned by round arches, the voussoirs treated as rustication. Tripartite windows to side of each entrance, set in Tuscan aedicule with segmental pediment over the central light. All ground- and upper-floor windows are flat-arched; broad basement windows are segmental-arched with keyed jambs and rusticated voussoirs. First-floor windows with moulded architraves, those over the entrance with segmental pediment; the rest with projecting sills and keyed lintels. Second-floor windows with moulded architraves and projecting sills. Bracketed cornice and parapet to all ranges. Stacks to party wall. Plaque on party wall between the 1st and 2nd floors reads "Penshurst Place", refers to the group formed by Nos 68-76 Lyndhurst Way (qqv). INTERIOR: not inspected.
