GV II
Pair of semi-detached houses. Early C19, some upper parts rebuilt. Amber brick with renewed parapet. 3 storeys and basement, 2 irregular bays, right-hand bay to No.146 lower and slightly set back; 2-storey and basement, 1-bay extension to left of No.148. Round-headed doors in outer bays, that to No.146 in stucco-lined reveal beneath pointed, scalloped lead canopy, that to No.148 with prostyle stucco Doric porch, reeded cornice head continuing around jambs and decorative fanlight. Flat, gauged-brick arches to windows, those to No.148 sashes with glazing bars, those to No.146 sashes with margin lights on inner bay (that on ground floor in segmental-arched recess with stucco band at spring), C20 casements in outer bay (that on ground floor round-arched). 1st floor stucco sill band. Blank windows on axis to all 3 floors. INTERIOR: not inspected.
