Terrace of 21 houses in unified composition. 1842. WR Glasier
and TJ Crawley. Multi-coloured stock brick with stucco
dressings; stucco cornice and blocking course with brick
parapet above with stucco pilasters at corners and between
houses.
3 storeys and basement, 2 bays each. Central, slightly higher
and projecting section with quoins (Nos 123-127) and similar
pairs of houses at each end (Nos 105-107 & 143-145). Tablet
over centre: "Laurie Terrace".
Stuccoed ground floor has doors (some replaced with windows)
with pilaster jambs, cornice heads and oblong fanlights
flanked by taller pilasters. Ground-floor sash windows with
glazing bars in plain reveals. Stucco architraves to long,
1st-floor casement windows, those in central section with
cornices; 1st-floor balcony with cast-iron railings. 2nd-floor
sash windows with glazing bars have flat, gauged-brick arches.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: later scale pattern cast-iron area
railings. Some cast-iron window boxes.
