6 houses. 1810-1835. Brick in Flemish bond with stucco dressings. Roofs parapeted. 3 storeys over basement. 2 windows each. All entrances are reached up stairs and set within a Tuscan aedicule. Entrances to end units on the returns, each flanked by a blind window. All openings are flat-arched. Ground-floor windows with moulded architraves and cornices, each supported on a pair of console brackets. All upper-floor windows with gauged brick lintels. Sill band to 1st floor windows. Continuous entablature to parapet. The joins between the upper floors of Nos 56 & 57, and 58 & 59 are recessed; the pair formed by Nos 57 & 58 projects slightly from the rest of the group. Sashes of C19 design with broad margin lights. Stacks to party walls. INTERIOR: not inspected. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: railings to basement areas. Included for group value.
