Terrace of 5 houses. 1851-2. Yellow brick with stucco dressings and stucco banded rustication to ground floor and basement; pitched slate roof with deep eaves soffit. 3 storeys and basement, 3 bays each. Doorways with architraves, console bracketed dentil cornices and pediments; recessed doors with panelled reveals and soffit. 4-pane sash windows, those on ground floor in plain reveals with cast-iron guards to projecting sills, those above with stucco architraves; console bracketed cornices alternating with triangular pediments to 1st floor; bracketed sill band with guttae and band pilasters with guilloche moulding rising to eaves between each window on 2nd floor. INTERIOR: not inspected. The Lord Nelson Public House (qv) and Nos 16-64 (even) (qqv) form a group.
