Terrace of 4 houses, now 3 shops and house. Early C19, with later alterations. All 3 storeys, 3 bays, some with attics. Multi-coloured stock brick with parapets; stucco to No.31. Nos 31 & 35 with slate mansard and dormers behind brick parapet. Upper part of No.37 appears rebuilt. Ground floor to No.31 (previously shop front, now house and garage entrances) has 4 fluted Doric columns framing a wider central opening and flanking side openings and supporting frieze and cornice. Windows to 1st and 2nd floors set in 3 tall round-arched recesses with impost bands. House recently renovated, with some alterations. Ground floor to No.33 boarded up at time of survey. 1st- and 2nd-floor sash windows (4 missing) with gauged, flat brick arches. Ground floor to No.35 has altered shop front with pilasters and panelled dado, door to right, recent fascia board above. 1st-floor 4-pane and 2nd-floor 6-pane sash windows with glazing bars and gauged, flat brick arches. Stuccoed dentil cornice. Ground floor to No.37 has altered shop front with door to left, private door to left again, recessed and with cornice head. Gauged, flat brick arches to sash windows with glazing bars (no centre window at 2nd floor). INTERIOR: not inspected.
