GV II
Detached villa. Mid C19. Stucco; dry slate hipped roof with dentilled eaves cornice; stuccoed end stacks. Double-depth plan with probably 2 rooms at the front flanking a central entrance hall. 2 storeys; symmetrical 3-bay front with centre bay broken forward and surmounted by a triangular pediment with dentilled cornices. 4-pane sashes to 1st floor; canted bay windows to ground-floor left and right with moulded cornice linked to string course. Central porch with rusticated round-arched doorway; cast-iron railings to parapet above. INTERIOR: not inspected but likely to be of interest. One of a good group of villas in Mannamead which was developed after 1851. (The Buildings of England: Pevsner N: Devon: London: 1989-: 669).
