House and attached warehouse. Early C19 house and mid C19
warehouse. House rendered brick and rubble, warehouse painted
brick; dry slate roofs, the house with crested ridge tiles;
rendered brick end stack on left. House is double-depth plan.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys; house is 2-window range to 1st floor;
2-storey open-pedimented gable end of 2-storey warehouse on
the right. House has late C19 or C20 4-pane horned sashes: 3
on the left and taller narrower sash over doorway with C20
door on the right. Warehouse has hoist over round-arched
loading doorway over wide doorway flanked by 2 narrow
segmental-arched windows; V-jointed planked doors. Mid C19
earth closet and washhouse with copper to rear courtyard.
INTERIOR: 1990 list description: early C19 dog-leg staircase
with winders, stick balusters and column newels. Panelled
doors within moulded architraves except C18 2-panel door with
HL hinges to 2nd floor. Cupboards with moulded architraves
flank blocked fireplaces to rear rooms; 1st floor has similar
cupboards and, to front, cyma-moulded cornice and marble
shelf; mid C19 cast-iron grates and flanking cupboards to 1st
floor.
