Corner shop premises. Mid C19. Incised stucco with stucco
detail; roof hidden behind balustraded parapet with twist
balusters above a heavy moulded and modillioned cornice.
Single-depth corner-site plan.
3 storeys; 3-window range to Parade Ope and symmetrical
2-window front to the Parade. Upper floors have rusticated
quoins and original 12-pane hornless sashes within keyed
segmental-arched openings, the 1st-floor openings with
panelled pilasters on a plinth course, consoles and moulded
hoods, the 2nd-floor openings with sill brackets and moulded
architraves. Ground floor has moulded fascia entablature above
original 4-light double shopfront with sidelights to splayed
central doors with overlight and pair of round-arched glazed
doors. Left-hand return into Parade Ope is similar but with
continuous 7-light shop window and house doorway with
overlight and 6-panel door on its left.
