House. Right-hand part early C17; centre part c1700 (remodelled); left-hand gabled bay 1920s. Rendered timber-frame on stone plinth. Modern tile roof, tall tapering-off ridge end chimney to right. EXTERIOR: right-hand part is one-and-a-half storeys, 2 bays with gable to right. Off-centre right entrance: C18 pedimented doorcase and C20 6-panel door, modern casement windows on ground floor (1+3) with traces of a dripmould, canted bay, small 4-light window above door and a 2-light casement in gable. Plain 2-light stone mullion window in return. Centre section 2 storeys rendered (with modern gable to left). 2 windows, porch to left. Modern tile roof with ashlar chimney and moulded capping to left part, further rendered similar left end stack. One range of windows and a further chimney in C20 left hand bay. INTERIOR: noted in 1983 List: old part retains one exposed wind brace and a truss with cambered collar and a shaped elbow brace at joint with post. Centre part retaining a wide Tudor arch fireplace in square rebate, cornice with moulded cornice (smaller version in room above), fine beam, with wide chamfer and ridge stop. Stair recess with light (into 1920s corridor now) to right. (List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest: Department of the Environment: Borough of Cheltenham: 1983-).
