GV II
3 late C17 headstones, headstone to Thomas Jeffes (d.1666) and Neoclassical altar-type tomb chest. Stone. 3 late C17 headstones approx 3m to W of SW corner of Church of St Mary (qv); headstone with segmental-arched head and carved drapery; another with central cherub-head above oval cartouche; another with elliptically arched head and incised volutes. Headstone to Jeffes approx 6m to W of SW corner of church has worn scroll embellishment. Altar tomb approx 5m W of SW corner of St Mary's Church on shaped plinth, oval inscription tablet to each side (inscriptions worn), frieze with partly-eroded scroll decoration and moulded cornice, scalloped pyramidal cap.
