GV II

2 sets of gate piers, gates and boundary walls. c1806, wall over-restored and rebuilt c1980-90. Ashlar gate piers, wrought- and iron gates and pinkish-brown brick walls. Piers to west entrance have ball finials, piers to stable entrance have stone capping. Wall approx 1.5m high is returned to Cirencester Road where it rises to approx 2.5m, buttressed on east side. Extends almost to Cudnall Bridge (qv). A significant streetscape feature, forming part of the setting for Langton Lodge (qv).
