Parish hall. 1870s with later additions and alterations. Probably by Henry Middleton. Coursed and slightly vermiculated stone, with stone slate roof. EXTERIOR: single tall storey, 4-window range with entrance bay added to south. Buttresses with off-sets between bays. Windows have paired, cusped lights with slightly pointed heads and with hoodmoulds and face-stops. 2 x C20 roof dormers. Gables have coped verges on moulded footstones. North front has gabled porch below and 4-light window with tracery in head. INTERIOR: not inspected. Forms a group with Railings and gate to St Mary's Hall (qv), Stocks and whipping post (qv) and Church of St Mary, Church Street (qv).
