Villa, now residential home for the elderly. 1826 with later additions and alterations. Bath stone ashlar front on sandstone basement, concealed slate roof, end stacks with cornices. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys on basement at right, with 3 bays, the outer bays break forward, with 5 first-floor windows arranged 1:3:1. Plinth. Full-height Ionic pilasters to outer bays, Tuscan to centre bay. Flight of renewed steps with original surrounds to central entrance porch with 2 pairs of Ionic columns, frieze, cornice and blocking course. Within a 6-fielded-panel door with overlight. Mainly 6/6 sashes, those to ground floor are taller, all in tooled architraves, those to ground floor have cornices, that to first-floor, centre an 8/8 sash has cornice on consoles. Pilasters to first bay of right return, blind openings. INTERIOR: lobby has 2 niches, double panelled doors with overlight with glazing bars, in panelled reveals. Main hall: fluted Tuscan pilasters with embellished cornices. Sweeping staircase has cast- and wrought-iron balusters; round-arched staircase window and 2 niches. 6-panel doors have fielded-panel reveals, tooled architraves and cornices. Lounge: (now divided) cornice and ceiling frieze with honeysuckle and scroll motifs; moulded pelmets. Shutters. Some false ceilings reputed to cover original cornices.
