GV II

Terrace of 3 houses and attached railings. c1827-40 with later additions and alterations. Ashlar with painted stucco to left, artificial slate roof, stucco party-wall and right end stacks and iron railings. Double depth plan with left stairhalls. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys, 8 first-floor windows arranged 2:3:3. Banded rustication between floors; crowning cornice and blocking course. 2/2 horizontal-pane and 6/6 sashes, all in plain reveals and with sills. Left entrances, alike: steps to part-glazed and C20 doors with fanlights with glazing bars, in plain reveals. Round-arched passage entrance to left. INTERIOR: not inspected. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: arrowhead area railings and to sides of steps, those to 2 right houses have bars and dog-bars with urn finials to stanchions.
